Draft for review · Updated October 4, 2026

These terms are awaiting confirmation of the legal operator, business location, and support contact. An effective date will be added when the final terms are adopted.

1. The service and these terms

EzRSVP provides account access, invitation themes, a browser-based editor, saved invitations, authenticated PDF downloads, shareable event pages, direct guest RSVPs, a private host dashboard, and CSV response exports. Hosts can edit, publish, unpublish, close responses, and delete their invitations. Older encrypted links continue to use email replies. Automated invitation sending and reminders are not currently available. These draft terms explain the proposed rules for using EzRSVP. They are awaiting confirmation of the service operator’s legal identity and jurisdiction before becoming final.

2. Eligibility and account security

Host accounts are intended for adults who can enter a binding agreement where they live. If you use an account for an organization, you must have authority to act for it. Provide accurate account information and protect your email account, sign-in links, and verification codes. Do not share codes or use another person’s identity. Report suspected unauthorized access through the Contact page.

3. Hosts, guests, and event information

Hosts are responsible for their event details, permissions, venue arrangements, safety, accessibility, cancellations, and communications with guests. Guests should provide accurate responses and contact the host about event-specific questions. EzRSVP is a software service and does not organize, insure, supervise, or guarantee attendance at an event. Example names, dates, and venues in theme previews are fictional samples.

4. Your content and theme permissions

You retain rights in content you supply. You must have permission to use any photographs, text, names, logos, music, or other material you submit. You grant EzRSVP the limited permission needed to store, process, display, and deliver that content for your use of the service. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated advertising. EzRSVP themes and branding may be used through the service for your invitations; they may not be resold as a separate template library or used to impersonate EzRSVP. Rights held by third-party creators remain with those creators.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for fraud, harassment, threats, exploitation, unlawful discrimination, infringement, or illegal events. Do not impersonate others, upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security or sending limits, scrape private guest information, or interfere with other users. Do not send unsolicited bulk messages or use purchased contact lists. We may investigate reported misuse and restrict accounts or content where reasonably needed to protect users or comply with law.

6. Personal information and guest consent

Our Privacy page explains the information used by the current service. Before entering anyone else’s information into an event feature, ensure that you have permission or another valid legal basis and explain how their information will be used. Collect only what is necessary for the event. Avoid entering identity documents, payment credentials, detailed medical records, or other highly sensitive information. Treat shareable invitation links as accessible to anyone who receives them. Do not publish guest contact details without authorization.

7. Email, SMS, and notifications

Account sign-in links and verification codes are requested by the person signing in. Available channels depend on provider configuration. Hosts share invitation links through their own messaging services and must obtain required recipient consent, respect opt-out requests, and comply with applicable communications rules. Authentication consent is not consent to promotional messages. Carrier message and data charges may apply. Delivery timing and inbox placement depend on third-party services; neither delivery nor an RSVP is guaranteed.

8. Third-party services

Authentication and hosting use services including Supabase and Vercel. Google, Apple, SMS providers, maps, or other linked services may have their own terms and privacy practices when used. Availability can depend on those providers. EzRSVP does not receive your Google or Apple account password through provider sign-in. Review the permissions requested by each provider before continuing.

9. Pricing and future paid features

The current account, editor, PDF download, and sharing features have no EzRSVP subscription charge. Any future paid feature will disclose its price, billing terms, cancellation rules, and applicable refund policy before purchase. No subscription or recurring charge is created merely by browsing designs or creating an account. Charges imposed by your carrier or other providers are separate.

10. Availability and changes

The product is evolving, and features can change or be temporarily unavailable. We aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes when practical. Keep your own copies of important event information and avoid relying on EzRSVP as the sole source for time-critical communications. Saved invitations and responses remain until the host deletes the invitation or account closure is processed, subject to backup retention and legal obligations. Database backup retention depends on the hosting provider’s configured plan.

11. Suspension and account closure

You may stop using the service at any time. Hosts can delete their invitations and associated responses from the dashboard, or request account closure through the Contact page. We may suspend access for a material breach, security risk, or legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and offer an opportunity to resolve it. Handling of personal information after closure is subject to applicable legal obligations and the Privacy policy. An automated account-deletion feature is not currently offered.

12. Warranties and responsibility

To the extent allowed by applicable law, the early service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted operation, perfect accuracy, or fitness for a particular event. Nothing in these terms excludes a right, remedy, warranty, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Responsibility for a claim will be determined under applicable law; these draft terms do not impose an arbitrary monetary cap or waive mandatory consumer protections.

13. Concerns and disputes

Please contact us with a description of the concern so we can try to resolve it. This draft does not require arbitration or waive a right to bring a claim in a court that has lawful jurisdiction. A governing-law clause will be considered after the operator’s legal identity and location are confirmed, while preserving mandatory rights that apply to users.

14. Updates and contact

The date on this page identifies the latest draft. Before these terms become final, the legal operator name, contact details, and effective date must be confirmed. Material changes to final terms should be communicated through the website or another appropriate channel. For product questions, account requests, or reports about content, use the Contact page.
